Production and use of biodiesel started November 2007, we have been able to purchase the required equipment thanks to grant funding from South Lanarkshire Council and SLRP Leader+.

We will be testing the fuel in our own vehicles and results of the tests will be available to any interested parties, a summary of the results will be maintained on this website, however more in depth reports and information will also be available from our staff on request.

We will initially be producing the fuel from waste cooking oil and would welcome contact from anyone or any organisation who can supply us with the oil or who would like to assist us to locate suitable oils.

The oil must be vegetable based, liquid at room temperature and not contaminated by water.
