Community Transport
RDT operate various community transport vehicles ranging from 8 to 33 seats including vehicles with wheelchair facilities, these vehicles are available
with either staff drivers or volunteer drivers. We also provide MIDAS training for all voluntary drivers.

Our latest project is the operation of a minibus in conjunction with CREATE in the Cambuslang and Rutherglen areas, funding was granted on 30th January 2008 to extend and enhance this service, the main funder is the Big Lottery and supported by South Lanarkshire Council.

We are confident that this operation will be succesful and welcome contact from any similar organisations thoughout Lanarkshire who have the wish to develop community transport in their area as part of our organisation, this equally applies to current CT operators who could benefit from being part of our larger organisation, there is much to be gained from working together and very little, if anything, to lose.

Community Groups
If you are a community group you will no doubt require transport either on a regular basis or regularly throughout the year, we can supply this service
for you.

If you are working on a funding application for a new project and it will require transport you can partner with us and we will supply exactly what you need, speak to us before you submit your application and we will offer assistance to estimate the costs of your likely transport requirements.
